Product

Our meals are made with high-quality, locally sourced meats, fresh vegetables, and natural ingredients. We never use fillers, artificial preservatives, or additives.

At FFK, we prioritize serving fresh, real food by sourcing ingredients locally. Our meat and vegetables come from trusted wholesalers and Malaysian supermarkets (the same ones you shop in!) to ensure both quality and freshness.

Whenever possible, we also source dry ingredients (like seeds) locally to support our community and maintain high standards.

Prices vary based on your FFKid’s size, diet, and meal plan (full bowl or half bowl). Please take the quiz here to get an estimate of how much it’ll cost

Absolutely! FFK is an investment in your pet’s long-term health. Our meals are nutritionally balanced and tailored to your FFKid’s specific needs, helping prevent chronic illnesses that can be costly to treat later on.

Fresh food costs more than kibbles—but it’s far healthier, and we make it super convenient too. Just thaw and serve. Move a tray from freezer to fridge the night before, and it’s ready in minutes—just like kibble, only better.

Yes. All FFK meals are formulated and reviewed by licensed vets in Malaysia and the UK to ensure safety and balanced nutrition.

Nope! We offer a gently cooked diet. Our meats are slow-cooked at 75°C to eliminate harmful bacteria while preserving nutrients. Vegetables are lightly cooked to retain their benefits. Unlike raw diets, our method offers safety and digestibility—especially for sensitive tummies.

Yes! At least most of them are. The exception are meals tailored for specific conditions (e.g., urinary tract conditions) which restrict protein intake. For these, we have carefully selected, low-glycemic grains and vegetables to support stable blood sugar and better gut health.

FFK provides complete and balanced meals that include nutrients necessary for gum and teeth strengthening. For example, our meals contain calcium, phosphorus, and kelp, which support healthy teeth and gums.

While kibbles may help reduce plaque buildup, the best way to maintain strong teeth is by brushing regularly.

Simply feeding kibbles without brushing your furry kids’ teeth can still lead to dental issues due to the processed ingredients, additives, and artificial flavorings commonly found in kibbles, which can contribute to plaque and tartar buildup over time.

Fresh food can transform your pet’s health! Many customers report:

  • More energy and excitement at mealtimes
  • Thicker, shinier coats
  • More consistent stool (firm, regular, dark brown)
  • Stronger immunity
  • Fresher breath and improved dental health

During the first few days, your FFKid may experience mild digestive changes like soft stools — this is totally normal. Stick to the transition plan to support a smooth adjustment.

It means your FFKid is getting all the essential nutrients in every meal — protein, essential fatty acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals.

Our meals are vet-approved and developed by our in-house nutritionist from Hong Kong to meet internationally-recognized AAFCO standards to ensure they’re safe for pets of all ages.

In our human-grade kitchen in Petaling Jaya. Unlike brands that outsource, we cook everything in-house under strict hygiene and safety standards—just like your food! This way we can assure the quality of every single meal meets the FFK standard you know and trust!

Yes! Our recipes are formulated to meet the nutritional needs of dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes—from pups and kittens to seniors.

Definitely. Our hypoallergenic meals use single novel proteins (monoprotein), such as duck, or sardine—avoiding common allergens like chicken and beef.
Unlike some brands that sneak in extra proteins (e.g., meat with fish oil), FFK is 100% monoprotein—perfect for pets with sensitive stomachs.

No! Hydrolyzed proteins are highly processed and often less appetizing to our FFKids.
FFK hypoallergenic meals are non-hydrolyzed, minimally processed, and gently cooked for high palatability and easier digestion.

Yes. In collaboration with our vets and pet nutritionist, we offer FFKare meal plans for common conditions like:

  • Obesity
  • Arthritis
  • Kidney disease
  • Urinary tract infections

FFK meals are preservative-free, so storage matters:

  • Frozen meals: up to 3 months from manufactured date (check the packaging) – but we recommend finishing them within 1 month to ensure your FFKids enjoy their meals fresh. It’s like your lasagna or your chicken curry — you wouldn’t want to eat it after it’s been in the fridge for even a week, right?
  • In the fridge: up to 7 days (unopened), 2 days (once opened)

Tip: Keep meals in the freezer and transfer them to the fridge the night before feeding. We notice some FFKids prefer it warm. To do so, you may place the pack in a bowl of lukewarm water (not hot, to avoid further cooking) for 2–3 minutes before serving.

Yes! FFK meals can be served as a complete, standalone meal or mixed with dry food as a half bowl meal.

If you’re mixing—for example, half FFK and half kibble—just be sure to reduce the kibbles portion accordingly to avoid overfeeding.

Want a more balanced guide? Check out our Half Bowl Plan for the perfect combo of fresh and dry food that suits your FFKid’s needs.

Don’t worry—fussy eaters are more common than you think! Here are some tips to help:

  1. Add some broth – A splash of warm, pet-safe bone broth can make the meal more enticing.
  2. Let them skip a meal – It’s completely normal for dogs to have days when they’re not hungry. As long as they’re healthy and it doesn’t last more than 2–3 days, it’s okay—just like us, they have appetite ups and downs too!
  3. Avoid high-calorie snacks or treats – Too many treats can spoil their appetite for proper meals.
  4. Serve it warm – FFK meals may still be cold after thawing in the fridge. Try placing the sealed pack in a bowl of lukewarm water for 2-3 minutes before serving. Many FFKids find warm meals more appealing!

Not necessarily! Here’s why it happens and what you can do:

  • FFK meals are 100% natural with no artificial flavouring or additives.

  • If your FFKid is used to kibbles, they may expect a stronger smell—ours is milder, much like our home-cooked food. (much like MSG-filled potato chips vs home-cooked meals). It’s much healthier, but the scent and taste are subtler.
  • For cats especially, they are cautious eaters—they often sniff first, then decide later.
👉 Tip: Offer a small bite on your finger or spoon. Let them sniff and lick, then gently guide them to the bowl.

❤️ The goal of switching to FFK isn’t just about a meal choice—it’s building a healthier, longer life. That’s why we have a transition plan to ease them into the change. When you take our quiz, we’ll ask if your FFKid is a fussy eater so we can personalise the plan with added broth, texture tweaks, or special tips just for them.

If your FFKid is refusing all food, including their previous diet, it might not be about pickiness—it could be a sign of an underlying health issue.

In this case, we strongly recommend a visit to your vet to rule out anything serious.

🐶 How to Start with FFK

If you had to eat the same dry, highly processed food every day, how would you feel?
At FFK, we believe fresh food can help pets live better, longer, and happier lives. Our meals support preventive care through proper nutrition—and bring joy by giving them real food, just like the ones we enjoy ourselves.

A week’s worth of FFK costs about the same as one of our weekend meals out. Given the love we experience from our little FFKids, why not return the favor with better food and a better lifestyle?

Anytime! Our meals are specially formulated for all life stages:

  • Puppies and kittens (from 8 weeks onward)
  • Adult pets
  • Seniors with specific needs

Just share their details with us—we’ll build a customized plan just for them.

Not quite. While they might love the taste of real food, a gradual transition is key to avoid tummy troubles.
Follow our step-by-step transition plan to help their digestion adapt smoothly.

Slow and steady wins the race!

We recommend a 1-week transition, slowly increasing the FFK portion each day while decreasing their old food. Check out our transition plan for more details.

Some indigestion (including soft stools or in some cases, vomiting) is normal in the first 1–2 days. It could be due to eating too fast from excitement, or a sensitive tummy.

If symptoms persists, pause for a day or two or even go back up a step in the transition process to give some time until their digestion settles.

Also make sure:

  • Food is not past its expiry date (3 months past manufacturing)
  • Food is properly thawed (never frozen inside)
  • You’re following the transition plan

Be patient—typically, your FFKid just needs time to adjust!

💩 Check their stool!
Firm, compact, dark brown stools are a strong sign of a healthy, happy digestive system. If it looks good, you’re on the right track.

Option 1: Soak the sealed pack in lukewarm water for 5-10 minutes
Option 2: Move the next day’s portion from the freezer to the fridge before bedtime. In the morning, check if they are fully thawed. If not, warm them slightly in lukewarm water for 2-3 minutes.

For an extra tasty treat, warm it up with hot water for 1 minute.

That’s perfectly ok! Use it during the transition. Gradually mixing your old food with FFK helps your pet adjust better, reducing the chance of digestive upset.

No. You can still feed kibbles to your pets occasionally—especially when you’re traveling or need a backup option.

And honestly? Kibbles are like chips or fries… even if they haven’t had them in a while, most pets will still snack on them when fed.
