FAQs

No, calcium oxalate stones cannot dissolve through diet. This recipe is designed to prevent new stones from forming and reduce the risk of recurrence. For existing stones, consult your veterinarian for the best treatment options.

No, calcium oxalate and struvite stones require completely different treatment and thus, this isn’t suitable. If your dog has a history of both calcium oxalate and struvite stones (very rare in dogs), please consult your vet on the best treatment options going forward.

Yes! All our recipes, including our Urinary Tract Support – CO meals are vet-approved therapeutic diets, crafted to meet the specific nutritional needs of dogs with urinary tract issues, specifically calcium oxalate stone formation.

Super easy! Our meals are fully cooked and ready to serve.
Just thaw overnight in the fridge, or place the pack in a bowl of lukewarm water (not hot) for 30 minutes if you’re in a rush. No cooking needed—just open, serve, and watch your FFKids dig in!

After thawing, if you’d like to serve it warm (which many furry kids find more appetising), you can place the sealed pack in lukewarm water for 2-3 minutes.

Important: Please don’t heat our meals in a microwave or on a hot pan, as this can destroy the natural nutrients.

We recommend a gradual 7-day transition to avoid tummy upsets:

  • Day 1–2: 25% FFK + 75% current food
  • Day 3–4: 50% FFK + 50% current food
  • Day 5–6: 75% FFK + 25% current food
  • Day 7+: 100% FFK

You may go slower if your FFKids has a sensitive tummy, especially if they show digestion issues in the first couple of days of the transition.

No—this menu is specially formulated for adult dogs above 12 months old. For puppies, refer to our FFPuppy Menu. For cats, explore our FFKats Menu.

No, it isn’t ideal. This menu contains chicken and eggs, which are both common allergens and may trigger sensitivities. For sensitive FFKids, we recommend our Hypoallergenic Menus.

Yes, that’s definitely an option! Use our Half Bowl Plan: fill half the bowl with FFK and halve the original dry food amount to avoid overfeeding. For full guidance, check our Half Bowl Plan Guide.
