How do I know if my FFKids need a hypoallergenic diet?
Signs like frequent scratching, soft or irregular stools, vomiting, ear infections, or skin rashes may indicate a food sensitivity. If your pet shows these symptoms, switching to a hypoallergenic diet may help.
Can I feed a hypoallergenic menu to my healthy FFKid with no history of sensitive tummies?
Yes! While designed for sensitive pets, FFK hypoallergenic menus are complete and balanced, making them safe for healthy FFKids too. They’re also great for rotation feeding or pets prone to developing allergies.
How do I serve the FFK Tuna menu?
Super easy! Our meals are fully cooked and ready to serve.
Just thaw overnight in the fridge, or place the pack in a bowl of lukewarm water (not hot) for 30 minutes if you’re in a rush. No cooking needed—just open, serve, and watch your FFKids dig in!
After thawing, if you’d like to serve it warm (which many furry kids find more appetising), you can place the sealed pack in lukewarm water for 2-3 minutes.
Important: Please don’t heat our meals in a microwave or on a hot pan, as this can destroy the natural nutrients.
How do I start my kitten on FFK?
We recommend a gradual 7-day transition to avoid tummy upsets:
- Day 1–2: 25% FFK + 75% current food
- Day 3–4: 50% FFK + 50% current food
- Day 5–6: 75% FFK + 25% current food
- Day 7+: 100% FFK
You may go slower if your FFKids has a sensitive tummy, especially if they show digestion issues in the first couple of days of the transition.
Can adult cats or dogs eat this menu?
