FAQs

A hypoallergenic diet uses limited, novel protein sources (like duck, salmon or sardine) and avoids common allergens such as chicken, beef, or grains. It’s designed to reduce allergic reactions and support pets with food sensitivities, itchy skin, or sensitive digestion.

Signs like frequent scratching, soft or irregular stools, vomiting, ear infections, or skin rashes may indicate a food sensitivity. If your pet shows these symptoms, switching to a hypoallergenic diet may help.

Yes! While designed for sensitive pets, hypoallergenic menus are complete and balanced, making them safe for healthy FFKids too. They’re also great for rotation feeding or pets prone to developing allergies.

Super easy! Our meals are fully cooked and ready to serve.
Just thaw overnight in the fridge, or place the pack in a bowl of lukewarm water (not hot) for 30 minutes if you’re in a rush. No cooking needed—just open, serve, and watch your FFKids dig in!

After thawing, if you’d like to serve it warm (which many furry kids find more appetising), you can place the sealed pack in lukewarm water for 2-3 minutes.

Important: Please don’t heat our meals in a microwave or on a hot pan, as this can destroy the natural nutrients.

We recommend a gradual 7-day transition to avoid tummy upsets:

  • Day 1–2: 25% FFK + 75% current food
  • Day 3–4: 50% FFK + 50% current food
  • Day 5–6: 75% FFK + 25% current food
  • Day 7+: 100% FFK

You may go slower if your FFKids has a sensitive tummy, especially if they show digestion issues in the first couple of days of the transition.

No—this menu is specially formulated for puppies under 12 months old. For adult dogs, refer to our Adult Dog Menu. For cats, explore our FFKats Menu.

Yes, absolutely. Duck is a novel protein, making this menu ideal for FFKids with food sensitivities or delicate digestion.

Yes, that’s definitely an option! Use our Half Bowl Plan: fill half the bowl with FFK and halve the original dry food amount to avoid overfeeding. For full guidance, check our Half Bowl Plan Guide.
